Tanya Augsburg is Assistant Professor of Liberal Studies in the areas of the Creative Arts and Humanities at San Francisco State University. She is author of Becoming Interdisciplinary: An Introduction to Interdisciplinary Studies, 2nd Ed. (Kendall/Hunt, 2006) and co-editor of The Politics of Interdisciplinary Studies (McFarland, 2009). She has also published on the use of student portfolios in interdisciplinary studies programs.

Susan Banner Inouye teaches linguistics and freshman composition at Kapi'olani Community College in Honolulu. She is interested in technology enhanced learning and teaching. She is currently coordinating KCC's Engaged in Education professional development program which includes a faculty ePortfolio, which is the focal point of her research as leader of Kapiolani's Cohort V team in the INCEPR (2008-2011).

Jean Mach, Professor of English at College of San Mateo, coordinated CSM's CASTL Institutional Leadership Program, which used ePortfolios for the assessment of student writing in a revitalized WAC effort. Jean has also used ePortfolios, with great success, in her Creative Writing class. Jean has been involved in the development of metarubrics to assess ePortfolios, in AAC&U's VALUE project.
